Employer Responsibilities and SATS Training Programs
Before any confined space work begins, employers are responsible for ensuring all workers receive proper, up-to-date training. Additional training is required whenever job duties change, the permit space program is updated, or new hazards are introduced.
Rescue team members must also maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications to meet OSHA and NFPA requirements.
At Southern Appalachian Technical Services (SATS), we make sure your team is prepared for every scenario. Our instructors hold multiple national certifications and actively participate in continuing education to stay current with evolving standards.
We offer customized confined space training programs that meet site-specific needs while aligning with OSHA 1910.146, NFPA 1670, and industry best practices.
